~~ Please ~~ a request for help sorting out a daft little technical problem, see comment number 8 on my Necessary Gardening post. Then, when answered and sorted, I can delete this post and pretend it never happened !

That's so odd-I've never heard of having 3 things on one key (please let me know if I misunderstood).
Just a pure guess, but could you hold down either the control or the Alt key and press that key at the same time? Sorry I can't help more.

So you don't know how to access the third option on a key either !?
Spotted Elephant - I have looked closely (choosing which of my three pairs of specs let me focus !) and found that all of my keys on the right block, ujm onwards, have a third alternative - so there is a whole world out there of of key symbols I didn't see before today ! That is what comes of being a touch typist - my fingers just let my words stream out.
