This has been a Good Day

To be truly representative of today as a very Good Day, the birthday candle should be sat on top of this (which arrived yesterday):
And, be accompanied by one or three of these, which it was (chilled Chablis mmm zing mmm):
added together with my daughter's company, her wonderful blueberry birthday cake, some thoughtful presents and a few hare birthday cards:

Made a lovely happy stress free day. I am 54, a trifle tipsy, and content.

A very Happy birthday, fomr those whose Toyota MPv langishes in the garage awaiting an oil pump, who has just flumexildy and possibly a little guiltily read Goldfishes vanishing Bug problem and wondered have I, perhaps, at times had similar experiences, not that I would ever admit such!

56 in......27 or isit 28 days and amazingly enough still alive!!!!

Thanks for your wishes Ol Nobby.
I too have had little discombobulating experiences like Goldfish. It is much easier to ignore such when one lives alone. Because only I saw it. Or thought I saw it. No witnesses only me, so I can transform the experience into something that can be dismissed. Omnipotence !
Fingers crossed for your oil pump arriving soon.

Speeding on the motorway. The limit was 100 km per hour (62 mph) and a speed camera caught me doing 120 km per hour (72 mph).

Twenty Two - I was only four when that photograph was taken !!

Thank you for your rhyme. I often find the w.v. is apt; a few months ago there was a brief (and increasingly complex) attempt to make sentences out of the initials. That got very silly !

On Blogging Mone, shame on you - only 72 mph ! No, seriously, shame on you. But it always feels unfair doesn't it. The last time I got done (1997) was doing 45 in a 30 limit, which was positively dangerous, but seemed urgent at the time. Today I found a bit of straight, and did a very smooth 85, (sshh) then got overtaken by a BMW and gave up.

Hello Spotted Elephant, lovely to hear from you, I have been keeping you in my thoughts.

I think all we thinkers and doers deserve a lot of more of the good that we sometimes actually get.

I am sorry for only just getting online and publishing all these lovely birthday wishes.
